Bear Power is on it’s way!

Ummmmm…Where is this money coming from?

Posted by kitty on 19 Feb 2009 | Tagged as: the games people play, wierd shite

So President Obama waves his wand and the US gets billions of dollars eh? Well that’s lovely, but who is giving it to us? Why? What? I don’t get it. I thought we didn’t have any money. I thought we were in debt to infinity and beyond and if a regular citizen can’t get a regular loan because they already have too much debt then why should our entire country?

And money is malarky anyway is it not? I mean, who set the price on gold? Who sets the price on anything for that matter? Why has the price of everything gone up so much? Why does a gallon of milk that used to be 50 cents “back in the day” have to be three dollars now? It’s not like we’re breeding hyper producing, meganutritional, all you need in one cup of milk cows and shooting them across five dimensions because they wouldn’t survive here at this present moment and that’s why their juice is so spendy. They’re just fucking cows and if anything it’s a hell of a lot easier and faster to milk, bottle and send it on its way thus making it cheaper.

Yes, the concept of money is passe and something we need to get past eh? We spend our time working so hard just to get pieces of paper to buy the things we need and when the price of the things we need goes up we have to work that much harder and the cycle goes on until we are tired and grumpy and our lives are gone and we are hunched over to stare at the dirt. No way.

No way because
1. It seems as though The Great Awakening is underway and humans are realizing that all this toil is not worth a few pieces of paper and
2. Something built on nothing cannot last forever.

So do not cling to the idea that this stimulus is going to save our asses because it’s not. The age of Capitalism is over and to cling to old ideas and constructs that are obviously holding up like a candle in a hurricane is foolish. We must form or find new ways of commerce without money because there isn’t any money, it was just another construct put in place by who knows who now to divide and conquer and make the majority of the beautiful and truly valuable humans on this planet feel like little mice in order to control them easier.

Stop believing that the money way is the right way right away and help to crack the system. Start forming your own local economies through barter, trade, credits for services or what have you. Make it fun, make it easier, and make it more worth while to work for the things you want and need. The government at this point is nearly something to be humored, not something to look towards for answers to our problems. Yes, we got Barack, We got change and there is Hope in that, but now is the time to look inside ourselves and in our fellow brothers and sisters for that is where the Hope and the Change will truly come from.

Greetings Friends, It’s Sunday and remember…

That all we as humans truly and undeniably want is Love and Light. And I’m talkin’ about the core, when you really look inside, past the guts and the goo and all the things you think you know about yourself until you get to the other side and realize that you are quite huge and bright and really really pretty and shiny and kind of rainbowie like. It’s as if you were infinity, And golly YOU ARE IN FACT INFINITY. Isn’t that great?

This is The Source.
This is where you take a bath and refresh yourself.
This is where you truly check in to see if the operating systems are in fine working condition.
This is where you check for bugs.
This is where You go to love and be loved with no discretion.

In the Infinity Soup of Your Soul

Your Soul. Remember that too. You have one and it is beautiful and divine. You are a human, a live little being in this working network of other live beings and while that network may seem very huge and imposing and there are people who think they can boss you around and stuff and some of them are mean and look wierd and should be avoided though not forgotten because that will just turn them into parasites and then you’ve really got a problem so make note of that please and anyway you see how it goes? It gets confusing. And right off the bat too. but just know that you are love and are loved in return. Carry that with you because as luck would have it…

You are a human, I’m a human, that’s my cat and my ferret, that’s your dog who is looking at what appears to be a very large bug who appears to be heading towards that mushroom to have what appears to be a little midday snack and you see how it goes don’t you? We all have to get along with our little balls of infinity intact. You remembered that thing from the beginning right? Your infinity soup soul ball of light happy thing right? Good, because you have things to do with it and you’ve probably only just gotten here like I have and don’t be daunted by that, we have all the time in the world. We’re in infinity soup remember?

The soup you have to protect because it’s you. Ok, maybe soup isn’t the best analogy/ metaphorismical thingie here so let’s say it’s like in The Golden Compass, however you were exposed/enlightened to that lovely bit of trilogy work by Philip Pullman. He just took what is inside of us, our souls, put them in a package that we, as big wierd lovable humans can a little more wrap our heads and hearts and hands around, and gave it back to us in the form of a brilliant lesson. One that, when it got too bright, was surrounded in undeserved scandal. However, undeserved scandal aside, I, Kitty Aditi Dharana Lah Dee Dah Dee Dah, am here to tell you that it was a most marvelous tale and should be used as your cosmic bible/manual/guide to get you around and in some places you may forget to look yourself. Ok.

Jeeze, there really is so much isn’t there? Now that you’ve gone in and had a look around and learned some things about yourself and often it happens as reflections of others so don’t be surprised at that just rejoice and know that things are happening and if the reflections start getting scary and wierd looking then you and your beautiful big/little soul should start looking in other brighter directions. So it’s time to come out again and do your best not to hurt anyone along the way. There are people and things to guide you, they generally look nice and have good energy around them. Don’t forget to look for the signs. And not the ones on the side of the road or plastered all over Our lovely little planet, yes our lovely planet that in many ways represents us as humans so please take that into note as well and encompass that into the afore mentioned wordings that make up this page that you, and bless your soul, are now looking at. And…Energy?

Yes, there is energy at The Source. Infinity gobs of energy. Infinite gobs if you keep your channels clean that is. What goes in reflects what goes out and there really is no hiding anything for very long so you may as well get it right from the start. A properly taken care of machine lasts a long time doesn’t it?

Have as near to a perfect time as you can imagine and please remember or make note that there should be much laughter and love involved with this whole going about and doing things business and sharing too because We’re all in it together and what you do may affect me or whoever so be mindful and we’re all beautiful and it’s not really a competition or anything. We all lift each other up.

We All Shine Equally At The Source and You are Welcome at any time.

End Transmission.

Tom Robbins and a bit o’ truth

Posted by kitty on 30 Jan 2009 | Tagged as: grateful

” Our problems today are more complex and more threatening than at any time in history. Sadly we cannot even begin to solve those problems, because our reality orientations are lower than a snowman’s blood pressure. We squint at existence through thick veils of personal and societal ignorance, overlaid with still more opaque sheets of disinformation, thoughtfully provided by the state, the church and big business (often one and the same). The difference between us and Helen Keller is that she knew she was deaf and blind.”

~Tom Robbins from “The Archaic Revival” by Terence McKenna

Sadly it is true, but happily, since the books publishing date of 1991, things are looking up. We’ve been dragged through some shit and it seems as though, having hit some record lows in both the bigger picture and our own smaller ones, people are waking up. The truth, as it always will, is coming out once again. There is a lot to uncover and dig out of the earth, but with a little faith in ourselves instead of the enforced God that would have us fearing and cowering in hovels because we are not worthy and because of course we have done something bad today, we can make this transition happen.

Have a jolly day and ask for a dose of truth along the way.

What if they had just told us that we were pretty?

Posted by kitty on 17 Jan 2009 | Tagged as: beautiful people, grateful

Or better yet, that we were beautiful?   What would happen to us if instead of all the adds and whatnots out there trying to sell us something to make us look younger and prettier there were adds and whatnots out there saying that we were already fine just how we were born?  Or better yet, what would happen to the beauty industry if we just decided to think that for ourselves?

Maybe it would start to crack and crumble as the ego driven mentality of “We must look like perfect Gods and Goddesses (with the stipulation that you can afford it)” faded away and the real Gods and Goddesses stepped forth with their offset noses and naturally occurring blemishes and wrinkles, with their muffin tops and short bodies and second hand clothes and so on.  Maybe then some pressure would ease away and everyone would feel just that much better.  People could be just that much happier and freer.  And sure, wear makeup if you want to, because it’s fun to dust your eyes with silver glitter eye shadow, but please don’t buy into the idea that that is what makes you beautiful and attractive.

In this seemingly complex reality that we are all a part of it’s often best to think in more simplified terms, such as the non profitable terms of “Inner Beauty.” What makes a good looking skin?  Mainly water, so instead of buying the “Top of the Line” moisturizer from whatever big company that doesn’t really have your best interests in mind anyway just go to your tap or your water filtration system of choice and drink a couple of glasses.  Drink it all day long.  Eat whole foods that don’t come in boxes filled with ingredients with too many letters in their names that you have to google to make sure that a poison didn’t accidentally get mixed in.  And as for the body?  that’s simple too: Just move it.   However you can.  Just get on up and walk over there, or do something as simple as arm circles.  Arm circles are fun and when the rest of your body sees how much fun your arms are having they’ll want to join in and pretty soon you’ll be moving like dust in the wind.

And yes, no matter what this world and your own personal world is like these days, no matter what has been done to you or told to you throughout your years, (or what you may have done to others) you still have a light inside and if you would just take a real good look at it when you have a few moments you might be surprised.  It’s probably a lot bigger, brighter, and more stunningly beautiful than you were ever lead to believe so go out and feel good about yourself because in the real reality there is no one more beautiful than you.

Peace and Light and mew mew mew.

Every Living Being Needs To Respect

Posted by kitty on 25 Dec 2008 | Tagged as: grateful

Every other living being.  And that includes rocks and plants.  Everything has a consciousness and because we are aware of it probably means that “it” is aware of us and because “it” is having an affect on us probably means that we are having an effect on “it”.

There is no more room for domination in this life.  There is no more room for superior attitudes in this life.  In fact, there is not much room for egos in this life.  Period.  There is only room for understanding, forgiveness, love and freedom.  Maybe some other positive things but nothing that makes you feel power over another being.  Love.  Just Love.

Blessings during this solstice, the light is on it’s way.

“The Present of Presence” (an economic what’s up by Daniel Pinchbeck)

Posted by kitty on 07 Dec 2008 | Tagged as: beautiful people, grateful

Most people have not yet fully processed the magnitude of the economic crisis that will continue to deepen in the next years. Our lives may depend upon working through the causes and logical consequences of this disaster, which can be blamed on the greed and ineptitude of our ruling elite. The short-term prognosis is devastating. The hundreds of billions — potentially trillions — of dollars created by the U.S. government and Federal Reserve for bailouts should lead to hyperinflation and a sharp rise in the price of basic goods. At the same time, some analysts are predicting the U.S. government will be insolvent by next summer and forced to declare bankruptcy.

One consequence of the credit freeze has been that many farmers around the world, who often live on narrow margins and depend upon loans to see them through the annual harvest, have not been able to get credit. This could lead to diminished production of food at a time when climate change is reducing the amount of arable land. Last year, there were already hunger riots in a number of countries, and by next summer we may see famine on a larger scale.

Hunger may also become a problem in the U.S. While layoffs and mass foreclosures continue and our economy contracts, a large segment of our populace (who have no savings and much debt) could become a new pauper class. We have already seen over a million homes turned over to banks. One can only wonder where those people — and the millions more soon to join them — are going to end up.

Meanwhile, the turmoil in the markets will continue, potentially getting much worse. Apparently, hundreds of trillions of virtual dollars spin in the roulette machine of the derivatives market, which is beginning to disintegrate. The collapse of the housing market may be followed by mass waves of credit card defaults. Our economy was a house of cards, based on the extraordinary premise that ever-expanding debt was a desirable product, and it is now falling down upon us.

We are facing a time of great change and spiritual challenge. Those of us who have undergone a process of awakening and initiation during the last decades will be called upon to act as truth-tellers, leaders and compassionate caretakers for the multitudes that have been duped and deluded by the system. We may have to abandon our comfort zones and personal ambitions to be of service to the situation as it unfolds.

In the time available to us before the situation becomes critical, priorities include strengthening local communities and disseminating techniques of self-sufficiency, such as getting many more people to grow their own food. It is tragic that our mass media continues to act as a mechanism of distraction. The media could be used to explain to people how our world is changing, to teach them the basic life skills that we forfeited a few generations ago, and to imprint new behavior patterns based on sustainable life-ways. Perhaps public broadcasting, at least, can be repurposed for this necessary effort.

The partial nationalization of financial institutions around the world reveals the failure of capitalism — the end of capitalism in its old form. In the future, it should be obvious that capitalism was a transitional system for our global community. Capitalism meshed the world together through networks of trade and communication, while maintaining monstrous inequities and irrational misuse of resources.

The question that faces us now is: what comes after capitalism, and how do we get there? In the short term, we may see dangerous efforts at authoritarian control. The longer-term answer may be a collapse of centralized structures of authority and the blossoming of a new form of global direct democracy — what the anthropologist Pierre Clastres called “society without a state.” By necessity, our future system will be collaborative rather than competitive.

If the crisis now confronting the human community is mishandled, vast populations will experience untold suffering and starvation in the next few years. If “we the people” can rise to the occasion, we may be able to radically change the direction of human society, along with the basic paradigms and underlying operating systems of our culture, in a rapid timeframe. This appears to be the message of many prophetic traditions — as the Hopi say, “We are the ones we have been waiting for” — which have anticipated this climactic passage in human affairs.

As we approach the holiday season and the Gregorian New Year, we can give thanks for having been born into this extraordinary, precious time. Our actions over the next few years could have tremendous consequences for humanity’s future on this planet. At such a juncture, the best present we can give to the people around us is our authentic presence — our willingness to listen, learn and remain open to transformation, as the pace of change quickens around us.

Desert Life in Black Rock City

Posted by kitty on 07 Oct 2008 | Tagged as: Burning Man!

Yes, here I am at Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada (well, I’m actually the one behind the camera.)  Normally the storms are not this intense I hear, but this year we got two 8 hr sandstorms, one right in the beginning and one the day of the burn.  Both were very cleansing and amazing and quite honestly much easier to deal with than a snowstorm.

Sandstorms act as a great exfoliant, not only for the skin, but for the soul as well.  It puts you to the test, especially when your only shelter is a fabric tent that may or may not hold up.  During the first one we let our aggressions out.  We were tired, hadn’t gotten out of society in a while, our tent was in danger of either flying away or breaking down, leaving us in the freakish climate without decent shelter, but after we fought a little, found ways to make the tent more stable (which included having to take the fly off, leaving the mesh top exposed which caused the entire insides to be covered in a thick layer of fine and wonderful dirt) and screamed a little we were golden.   We realized that this climate, this natural phenomenon that was occuring around us was so much bigger than us that what could we do?  Give up the fight and just go with it and that’s what we did.

When you give up trying to have control like that something magical happens.  You learn to flow with life as it is actually supposed to happen.  WITHOUT HUMAN CONTROL.  And if you are a conscious person you may stop and think “Ok, this is where I am at, this is what is happening and while it may seem disastrous and brutal and not fair and so on, it is none the less happening so therefor there is a reason.  What is that reason?”  And you start searching in your soul and your brains for what the intense phenomenon is trying to show you, which is different for every person of course.

I have to say that I’ve never learned so much in so short a time as I did at Burning Man and all of it was positive (though for sure you go there seeking your own personal whatevers and the intentions you bring in are the experiences you will manifest, just as it is in life outside this spectacular event.)  It was my Metaphysical, Cosmological, human creativity and inginuity, trust in the universe and the collective unconscious dream come true.  To go to this event with an open heart and mind can truly be a live changing experience.  One filled with Love, Hope and Supreme Intelligence.

To be continued.

Jeeze,

Posted by kitty on 19 Aug 2008 | Tagged as: wierd shite

I darn near forgot I even had this here bloggie thingie.  I’ve been too busy with the new BF and with Burning Man preparations to really remember that I even have a computer.  I have made (well, it’s nearly finished) my first full dress (complete with a maniacal amount of beading) for the event and by next summer I should have a nice little collection to…do something with.  Like, say, make money with and quit a job with.

Where is this going?  I’m not sure.  I’m running on two hrs of sleep and I have four days to finish the fixin’s for the festival.  Yeah, it’s like Project Runway right in my living room.  the frenzy of the show is completely understood now.

Being completely self reliant in a desert is slightly frightening since if you forget anything you can’t run to the nearest convenience store for this or that, but I’m sure all will go well and with that many thousands of people milling about I’m sure community survival mode will be in effect,  Four gallons of water down and only 21 more to go.  Jeeze.

Welcome to America

We hope you enjoy your stay.  To start you off why don’t you eat this bowl of MSG.  Oh, you’re thirsty?  Well you can wash it down with a big cup of fluoride and you may as well have a snickers bar for desert.  Now you’re all set to dance away under the chem trails we spread through the air with our stealth planes.  Weeeeeeeee!!!!!  By the way, there is little chance you will receive any health benefits worth mentioning to fix how we just fucked you up without you even knowing it.  Have Fun!
